    Default Hard soft reset with pictures

    HTC Wizard (Prodigy) Hard Reset

    To perform a soft reset

    Use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button on
    the left side of your device. The device restarts and displays the
    Today screen.

    Warning! Always turn off your device before performing a soft reset or
    installing/replacing the battery and SIM card.


    To perform a hard reset

    1. Press and hold the Comm Manager button and Voice Command
    button on the device. At the same time, use the stylus to lightly
    press the RESET button.

    2. Keep the Comm Manager button and Voice Command button
    pressed, and the following message will appear on the screen:

    3. Release the two buttons, and press the Send button to perform a
    hard reset.

    i-Mate JAM Hard Reset

    To perform a soft reset

    If your Pocket PC Phone responds slowly, stops responding, or freezes, you can soft reset it. A soft reset causes the Pocket PC Phone to restart and re-adjust memory allocation. Unsaved data in any opened applications may be lost. Use the stylus to press and hold the Reset button, as shown on the next page.



    To perform a full reset


    A full device reset clears memory, deletes all data and restores the Pocket PC Phone to its default settings. Programs installed at the factory remain, erasing all data that you have created and programs you have installed. Press and hold the power button, and then use the stylus to press the soft reset button at the same time. Be sure you have backed up all your data in a SD card or on your PC before performing a full reset

    Hard reset

    1. Turn off your device.
    2. Hold down the Send button, End button and Camera button.
    3. Do not release Send, End and Camera, press the Power button.
    4. After on-screen indication, release all the buttons.

    E-Ten m600 Hard Reset

    HARD RESET
    (1) Press Power Button and Reset Button together and release them at the same time.
    (2) Immediately before device starts to reboot, press and hold End Call Button for approximately 15 seconds until the "Erase all data and loads defaults ?" screen appears.
    (i) If you wish to restore your device to the factory settings with the default WM5 OS and erasing all user data and user programs, press and hold the Speedial Button for about 5 seconds until the default "No" changes to 'Yes".
    (ii) If you want to retain your user data and programs, do nothing and the system will choose the options "No" by default before rebooting your device.

    Audiovox PPC-4100 Hard Reset

    To perform a soft reset:

    1. Remove the stylus from its holder.
    2. Lightly press the tip of the stylus to the reset button
    located on the rear panel of the device

    To perform a hard reset:

    1. Hold down the Power button on the front panel of
    your device.

    2. While holding down the power button , gently press
    the tip of the stylus to the reset button.
    The Confirmation message box appears.

    3. Press the volume rocker key up.

    i-Mate JASJAR Hard Reset

    To perform a soft reset

    • Press and hold both SOFT KEYS shown enclosed by circles in
    the picture below. Keep these keys pressed, and at the same
    time, use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button
    on the left side of your device. Press either 0 to restore to factory
    default or X to exit the hard reset process.
