Default BTS placement to cover an area

    Hello everyone,

I am student and I have prepared a project that affects the antenna placement problem in GSM networks, by reading some research paper, I found that to solve the problem we need to know the place "likely "where we can put the antennas, but these articles do not specify who does this. I would like to know who conducted this study, a software or engineer moving on the ground, or software + engineer or ?????

    Thank you
